This was initially a sketch from one of many sketch books I keep around. I had a concept for a body armoured special operations soldier, offworld capabilities with light combat and atmosphere ready suit. Not like the usual tank type outfits.

I like to work with a fluid sketch drawing because I feel there can be more life and energy in them simply from the frenzy that goes into putting your ideas on paper, this energy can come through in some drawings. It can make them more dynamic and sometimes a drawing can benefit from not being too worked over.

This was scanned then rendered in photoshop , keeping the whole thing fliud and fast against a colour and textured background.

The whole thing took about 45 mins to an hour. Constructive comments always welcome
